Hi there, friends! To those of you who may have been wondering where this month’s issue of Concrete was at the strike of the New Year, have no fear. With a little help from those of you who hopefully plan on submitting your work to Concrete in the near future, we’ll be back up and running with our February issue! Here’s to a prose and poetry packed 2015. Enjoy your new beginnings, fellow ratlings!

Did you miss this little rat? I know I did. After a few short months of summer hiatus, our beloved teal website will be revving its engines again to bring this month’s favorite pieces into the spotlight. In the coming issue you’ll see the work of one particular poet whose poems often impress us. Future issues might also feature just one or two pieces, or we may publish work from several different authors. As a wise woman once said on this very website, we’re not big fans of limits, and we hope you’re not either. Meet you back here at noon tomorrow.

In just a few hours, the first issue of Concrete Literary Magazine‘s online edition will go live. You’ll see three pieces there–the pieces we loved this August. Next month, you may see us post just one story we can’t bear to see go unpublished, or maybe you’ll see a menagerie of poems. We don’t like limits too much, and hope you don’t either.

See you at midnight.
